Section A: Written. Essay Format
Section B: Multiple-Choice Format
Section C: Problem Solving: Small Group Format
Section D: Practical Skills Demonstrations

The Certified Crisis Itervener Examination is weighted heavily toward Section D, Practical Skills Demonstrations. While all sections are considered very important, the ability to demonstrate one’s skill in actually doing Crisis Intervention is considered paramount.

Points from each Section will be totaled. Those accumulating the minimum number of points will be notified of their selection as a Certified Crisis Intervener and thereby allowed to use the CCI designation.

Course subject matter may be altered by the Course Director as deemed necessary, or based on the needs of a specific class.
